Bertrand Calmeau has lived, studied and worked in France, Germany, England and Senegal. He lives now in Canada where he has been a still photographer for 20 years. He has taken portraits of Billy Bob Thornton, Bill Clinton, Peter Falk, James Woods, Monica Bellucci, Eric Roberts, William Hurt, Matthew Modine, Catherine Keener, Michael Ironside and of US President Bill Clinton in 2002 and also official photos of the NHL Montreal Canadiens players in 2008 for the team 100th anniversary. He was still photographer on two Oscar nominated movies, Incendies (2010) and Henry (2011).
