A little about Pief

I was born in Toronto, raised in Amsterdam. My journey in photography began by assisting professional Dutch photographers Thed Lenssen (fashion, commercial) and the late Johan Vigeveno (mostly editorial, portraiture and film/theatre still photography). This gave me real-world schooling and experience in the entertainment business at a young age. To this day being ‘on set’ with dozens of other motivated and skilled creatives feels like home to me.

I shoot with mirrorless and sound-blimped Nikon equipment, enabling me to work silently and discreetly. I can do this in English, Dutch and Italian. ;
